Individualised treatment of musculoskeletal pain – with a focus on low back pain
Associate Professor Jon Ford (PhD and Specialist Pain and Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist) is the Managing Director of Advance Healthcare where he leads a multi-disciplinary pain management team working with chronic pain across seven clinics in Melbourne. Advance Online is an additional service providing virtual access to single and multi-disciplinary treatment for people with chronic pain and mental health problems across Australia.
Jon is also group leader of the Low Back Research Team at La Trobe University where he conducts clinical research on the effectiveness of individualised treatment for pain problems. He has published over 60 peer reviewed papers on the individualised treatment of pain.
