Michelle is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist with work experience in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in the public and private sector. Some of her postgraduate development include completion of hand therapy training in New Zealand, a Grad. Dip in Sports Manual Therapy and Masters degree in Physiotherapy at UWA and Polestar & DMA Pilates training. She completed the Australian College of Physiotherapists Specialist training program for musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2016.
After specialisation Michelle has been based at Body Sense Physiotherapy in Joondalup where the majority of her caseload is the assessment and management of complex and persistent pain presentations. Michelle has also been a Clinical Supervisor on the Post Graduate program at Curtin University since 2018 and a facilitator for pain specialisation for The Australian College of Physiotherapy.
